Bio: Ember (aka Mitch) is one of the most sought-after artists to come out of the Australian music landscape, having successfully navigated the electronic scene over his respected tenure as a DJ, producer, event promoter, label owner and creative director.

Cementing his reputation early on, Ember has been a mainstay at every major Australian music festival, including Field Day, Spilt Milk, Splendour In The Grass and Harbourlife, sharing lineups with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Charli xcx, Calvin Harris, Missy Elliott, Tame Impala, The Kid LAROI, Diplo, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Empire Of The Sun, The Temper Trap and Flume along the way. He’s curated and mixed multiple compilations for Ministry of Sound, including ‘The Annual’ alongside Dom Dolla, Clubber’s Guide, Electro House Sessions and more.

Renowned for his diverse approach to curation and an adaptable, trademark sound, Ember has held a 15-year residency at ivy Sydney, at the forefront of flagship events like Pacha. He’s promoted parties inviting Kid Cudi and Kaskade to the stage, been voted as one of Australia’s Top 10 DJs, and his dancefloor intuition has made him a trusted selector for premium brand experiences, soundtracking events for the likes of Sony, Canva, General Pants, Mumbrella, Red Bull, Tempus Two, City2Surf and Vivid Sydney, alongside weekly national touring.

Ember’s releases have graced the halls of internationally renowned labels such as Tchami’s Confession imprint, he’s hit #1 on the ARIA Club Chart and had airplay from Tiësto, David Guetta, Arielle Free, Vintage Culture and more at EDC, Lollapalooza, Tomorrowland and Creamfields, plus stations such as Triple J, KISS and SiriusXM.

Alongside this, his work as a public relations director has seen him spearhead international campaigns for powerhouses including Anyma, FISHER, Skrillex, Keinemusik, John Summit and Chris Lake - securing club and radio airplay across BBC Radio 1, Capital Dance, and Rinse FM.

Today, Ember stays true to his groundwork: expanding his ever-evolving music collection and seamlessly adapting his sound to suit the room, keeping floors moving and smiles intact at every turn.
